Are you looking for a professional proofreader or editor for your writing? I am Nicola Radley, a freelance editorial professional.  

I work with independent authors, publishers and organisations. I offer proofreading and copy-editing, and work on both fiction and non-fiction. I welcome all kinds of texts, including books, short stories, articles, magazines and web content. I understand the power of using words correctly and the persuasiveness of a well-crafted and edited text that preserves the author’s voice.

I established Radley Editorial Services in 2023, after over two decades’ experience of proofreading and editing documents during my former career as a civil servant. I also have a degree in archaeological sciences and spent five years working as an archaeologist. 

I am a Professional Member of the respected Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP). I’ve trained with the CIEP, the Institute of Publishing (formerly Publishing Training Centre) and Liminal Pages, and I continue to proactively undertake further training and CPD, to ensure that I am always applying the latest professional editorial standards to your text.
